Alma Care's postnatal services have been a game-changer for me and my baby. The personalized care and support I received made all the difference in my recovery and the start of my motherhood journey.

— Emily J.

If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would. As a new parents,  my husband and I felt completely taken care of and supported by the amazing and gracious team at Alma.

— Abby A.

I truly don’t know how we would have survived the first week postpartum without the guidance of the staff and certainly would not have been eating 3 proper meals a day. I’m grateful a place like this exists for families, we would have been lost without it!

— Jessica L.

The care Alma provides does not end with your stay. I love that they followed up to make sure everything was going okay, and offer home services for those that want a little extra support in their transition.

— Ashley L.

The staff was amazing - the caregivers are all extremely qualified and are great communicators. I was nervous at first, but they made it easy to accept their help in looking after baby, including overnight, so I could get some much needed rest and relaxation.

— Trish N.

I needed breastfeeding support, and a well baby visit the day after arriving, as well as an baby scale in the suite, Alma was able to accommodate these requests with short notice, and went above and beyond to make sure me and baby were okay.

— Stephanie O.

What is the difference between a Night Nurse and a Doula?

A Night Nurse (also known as a Night Nanny, Baby Nurse, Newborn Care Specialist, or Overnight Caregiver) and a Doula both provide support to mothers before, during, and after childbirth.

However, a Night Nurse typically focuses on newborn care during the night, helping with feeding, sleep routines, and general newborn care. A Doula offers more comprehensive support, providing physical, emotional, and informational assistance throughout childbirth to ensure a safe and positive experience.

Our team of postpartum specialists are experienced in day and overnight care.

I have support requests that aren't listed in the sample schedule. Will they be available?

Alma at Home is a highly personalized experience tailored to your family's unique needs. We’ll incorporate support in areas that benefit your recovery and your baby’s growth. We understand that needs can vary day by day and are committed to providing the necessary support as situations arise.

Can I speak to my night nurse/care professional before my services?

Absolutely! We are happy to arrange a meeting in advance to ensure a safe, streamlined, and positive experience.
